La contradicción entre el sistema de control estratégico vigente y su necesidad de orientación a lo imprevisto determina el problema de esta investigación como la evaluación de la orientación a lo imprevisto del sistema de control estratégico con vistas a su reorientación. Por ello, el objetivo es determinar el grado de orientación a lo imprevisto del sistema de control estratégico, con vistas a acciones de mejora necesarias para orientarlo en tal sentido. Para lograr el objetivo se parte de la hipótesis que si se determinan los parámetros del grado de orientación a lo imprevisto del sistema de control estratégico, entonces se pueden diseñar acciones de mejora necesarias. Se emplearon técnicas como cuestionarios (encuestas) y las propias del análisis estadístico. Fueron definidas las perspectivas de apego al diseño estratégico y al ambiente cambiante, con la determinación, en ambas, de las dimensiones humana, estructural, de proceso y de sus características correspondientes. Los resultados obtenidos confirmaron que el grado de orientación a lo imprevisto del sistema de control estratégico en la empresa es bajo. A partir de conocer esto, fueron diseñadas las medidas necesarias con vista a su reorientación.

The contradiction between the current system of strategic control and the need of its orientation towards the unforeseen events determines the problem of this investigation as the evaluation of the orientation to the unforeseen of the system of strategic control with a view to his reorientation. So, the aim is to determine the orientation to the unforeseen ratio of the system of strategic control, towards actions of improvement necessary to orientate it in that direction. To achieve the aim we start from the hypothesis that: if the parameters of the orientation to the unforeseen ratio of the System of Strategic Control, then necessary actions of improvement can be designed. There were used techniques such as questionnaires (surveys) and those of the statistical analysis. There were defined perspectives of connection to the strategic design and to the changeable environment, with the determination, in both cases, of the human, structural, of process dimensions and of their corresponding characteristics. The obtained results confirmed that the orientation to the unforeseen ratio of the System of Strategic Control at the company is low. From this, the necessary measures were designed towards to his reorientation.
